Engadina

Maloja

This delightful village, the uppermost of the Engadin, stands at the top of the Maloja Pass, looking out over the wide expanses of the frozen Lake Sils.

Sils

Located between Lake Sils and Lake Silvaplana is the picturesque village of Sils, a place of inspiration and invigoration where you can walk in the footsteps of Friedrich Nietzsche.

Silvaplana

This sporty village comprising three parts – Silvaplana, Champfèr and Surlej – lies at the foot of the Julier Pass, among the lakes of the Upper Engadin and surrounded by impressive 3,000-metre peaks.

Saint Moritz

150 years ago, the hotelier Johannes Badrutt made a daring bet with some of his English summer guests: in the middle of winter they would enjoy mild Engadin sunshine. Badrutt won, and St. Moritz blossomed into one of the most fashionable winter sports resorts.

Celerina

Celerina lies away from the bustle, yet close to all the action. From the village skiers and snowboarders ride a gondola straight to the heart of the family-friendly Corviglia/Piz Nair ski area.

Pontresina

At the foot of the Bernina massif, enjoying a sunny but sheltered position, lies delightful Pontresina.

Samedan

Samedan delights visitors with its variety of beautiful Engadin houses; it also boasts the new Mineral Baths & Spa. The pistes around the Survih ski lift are a draw for families. The beautiful mountain trails are perfect for mountain bike, hiking and for a calm walk in the alpine forest.

Bever

Unspoilt, natural and child- and family-friendly: that’s Bever. The trim village with is unpretentious Engadin charm offers visitors the chance to enjoy peace, tranquillity and a closeness to unspoilt nature.

La Punt

The patrician village of La Punt Chamues-ch, located on the route of the famous Engadin Ski Marathon, offers families all they could wish for.

Madulain

The smallest village in the Upper Engadin is a true oasis of relaxation, and offers numerous ways in which to spend unforgettable holidays. The region’s attractive ski areas lie close by.

Zuoz

Romansh culture is very much alive in this beautiful patrician village, with its impressive core of grand old houses.

S-chanf

As the finish point of the Engadin Ski Marathon, this small, picturesque, Romansh-speaking village is famous for cross-country skiing; among the many varied trails is the idyllic forest route to Zernez
