Finally, it’s time, spring is here! After the snow has melted, the sun’s rays become stronger and the summits turn into a soft, bright green, buds sprout wherever the eyes go. And we can’t get enough of it. It is not enough to see nature awaken from a distance. The beauty of Engadine’s Nature in spring will enchant all your senses. There is so much to experience and to see and to feel and to hear and to smell in the woods, at the lakes and on the peaks of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

We, at Hotel Bernina 1865 will open our doors for you on 5 May, with a bouquet of new offers, a new spring menu, and even a new fitness area, where you can enjoy yoga, meditation or strength exercises with a view of Piz Bernina after an extended hike.  

Holidays in spring, whether in the merry month of May with friends, on Mother’s Day on 12 May with your dear mother or on Whitsun weekend with the whole family, we look forward to your visit. Many winter sports enthusiasts take advantage of the last opportunity to ski or go on an adventurous ski tour. Elegant flair and cosmopolitan charm unite there. The first blossoms sprout, the mountain streams jump down the mountains full of water and on the mountains the holiday guest in Samedan still sees the last snow. The free days in spring are also the last unique opportunity for skiing in high up ski areas or to go on the last ski tour with snowshoes. The slopes on Corvatsch invite you to enjoy skiing until 7 May 2017, the mountain railways on Diavolezza/Lagalb are open for snow sports enthusiasts until 21 May 2017.
